Catherine loves scuba diving and has experienced many different conditions of water from the wrecks in Scapa Flow, Scotland to the caverns in Gozo, Malta and the drift dives in the Atlantic from Tobago. She is experienced at diving in a drysuit, semi-dry and wetsuit as well as teaching in both open water and the pool and classroom.

She is qualified as an Open Water Instructor and Advanced Diver with the British Sub-Aqua Cluband as an Open Water Scuba Instructor and Emergency First Response Instructor with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. As well as her qualifications with BS-AC and PADI, she has National Powerboat level 2 and Short Range radio certificates from the Royal Yachting Association in the UK.
